The Audi Q6 E-Tron electric edition has been announced for 2024, a sport utility vehicle that can travel up to 625 km on a single charge. The car is scheduled to be launched in European markets later this year.

The Q6 E-Tron will be released in two five-seat versions initially, with two electric motors and all-wheel drive, as well as a 94.9 kWh battery (for a general total of approximately 100 kWh).

The base model, the Q6 E-Tron Quattro, has 285 kW of power and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, and has a top speed of 210 km/h. As for the highest-performance model, the SQ6 E-Tron Quattro, it has a power of 380 kilowatts and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, and its top speed reaches 230 km/h.

Two new rear-wheel drive versions will be launched in the future. The first model includes a battery with a capacity of 83 kWh, while the second model features a larger battery with a capacity of 94.9 kWh, which will greatly enhance the driving range compared to the prototypes currently available in the market.

The PPE platform is designed to operate at 800 volts, allowing for DC fast charging of up to 270 kilowatts. This technology enables the battery to be charged from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes using a compatible charger, providing an efficient and fast charging process for users.

When connected to a 400-volt fast charging station, the Audi Q6 E-Tron supports the “dual charging” feature, in which the high-voltage 800-volt battery is divided into two equal halves, allowing each to be charged in parallel with a capacity of up to 135 kW.

The Audi Q6 E-Tron is distinguished by its dimensions of 4771 mm in length, 1993 mm in width, and 1648 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2899 mm, making it 89 mm longer and 100 mm wider, and carrying a 67 mm longer wheelbase compared to the model. Standard Q5. The car appears with the latest design language from Audi, including wide front air intakes, noticeable side lines above the wheel arches, and a blocked front grille.

The headlights, equipped with LED technology, will be “the world’s first active digital lighting system,” and are composed of several rows of optical modules that allow them to be adjusted to display eight different light patterns.

The rear lights are equipped with OLED technology and include 360 lighting units that are precisely adjustable every 10 milliseconds, and are in line with Car-to-X technology, which enables the car to communicate with road infrastructure and traffic control centers, which contributes to alerting drivers to any potential danger or obstacles. Monitored by the previous model.

Internally, the Q6 E-Tron features a unique interior design called “Digital Theater”. This new design features an 11.9-inch instrument display and a 14.5-inch touchscreen integrated into a single curved panel, surrounded by ambient lighting that creates an ambiance that makes the screens appear as if they are floating in the air at night.

The Audi Q6 E-Tron enhances the technical experience with an additional 10.9-inch touchscreen for the passenger, which contains a privacy feature that blocks the view from the driver while driving, in addition to the enhanced head-up display that shows information as if it were 200 meters away on the road.

As an additional option, users can equip their car with a Bang & Olufsen premium audio system, featuring 20 speakers with a total power of 830 watts. This system includes speakers built into the headrests of the front seats, providing a unique listening experience.
