The Kia EV9 received the “Family Car of the Year” award at the 2023 TopGear.com Awards. The electric car has been praised for its outstanding features that combine ample family-friendly space, long driving range, cutting-edge technology, elegant design, and sustainability features.
Olly Keogh, deputy editor of Top Gear magazine, praised the EV9 for its comfortable and stylish style that suits the needs of the American market. He also praised its elegant design and high operating efficiency compared to its competitors. In addition, he drew attention to the car's features such as massage and heated seats, spacious storage compartments, and easy automatic folding of the seats.
The EV9 stands out for its ability to cover a distance of up to 349 miles on a single charge, and it comes enhanced with 800-volt ultra-fast charging technology. This technology allows it to reach 80% charge in just 24 minutes. The car will be available to book in the UK, with deliveries starting in January 2024. Prices range from £64,995 to £73,245.
On the other hand, Kia Motors in the Middle East and Africa region announced the launch of their new Kia K3 compact sedan. This announcement was made during their participation in the Riyadh Motor Show, which is held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. At the show, Kia showcased a variety of its well-known vehicles such as EV6, EV9, K8 HEV, K5 HEV, Seltos, and Sportage. The exhibition is scheduled to continue until December 9, 2023.
The Kia K3 shines with a wide range of advanced technologies in safety and driver assistance systems (ADAS). Among these technologies, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) and Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA) stand out. In addition, the car includes other advanced features such as Safe Exit Warning (SEW) and High Beam Assist (HBA). Also, the car comes equipped with a front and rear parking distance warning system, providing audio warnings to the driver during the parking process to enhance safety and comfort.
